Harjoitustyön teko-ohjeet:

Kurssi suoritetaan toteuttamalla pienimuotoinen säätietojen tarkkailuohjelma, jonka kuvaus on tässä pdf-muodossa. Ohjelma  tehdään C-kielellä Win32 API-rajapintaa käyttäen.

Esimerkkiohjelmassa WO_Demo.exe on toteutettu kaikki vaadittavat ominaisuudet.

Työ palautetaan pakattuna kurssin vastuuhenkilölle joko sähköpostin liitteenä tai lähettämällä linkki, josta työ on ladattavissa. Työn on sisällettävä seuraavat tiedostot:
  1. Lähdekoodi-, otsikko- ja resurssitiedostot sekä
  2. Readme.txt -tekstitiedosto, jossa on opiskelijan nimi ja yhteystiedot sekä opiskelijanumero tai syntymäaika. Tiedostoon voi myös liittää omia työhön liittyviä kommentteja.
Työtä voi tehdä toistaiseksi.

Huomautus 1. Ohjeessa mainittu www-linkki ei enää toimi. Sen tilalla voi käyttää osoitetta  http://www.tol.oulu.fi/users/ari.vesanen/windowsohjelmointi/saa/saa.rss. Toinen vaihtoehto on hakea säätietoja joltain muulta palvelimelta.

Huomautus 2. Älä liitä mukaan käännöksessä syntyviä objekti- ym. tiedostoja. Myöskään exe-tiedostoa ei tarvitse liittää mukaan, jotta pakkaus ei jäisi sähköpostin suodattimeen. 

Instructions for the assignment:

To pass the course, constructing a small Windows application is required. This pdf file contains the description of the program.  The application shall be programmed with C language using Win32 API.

The example program contains all the required features.

The work is returned as a zipped package to the course's person in charge, either as an attachment to e-mail or providing a link to a web  address containing the work. The following files are included: 
  1. Source code files, header files and resource files,
  2. Readme.txt text file that contains the student's name, contact information and student number or birth date. This file can also contain student's comments related to the assignment.
The assignment is valid for the moment.

Note 1. The www-link in the instructions is no longer operating. You can use instead address http://www.tol.oulu.fi/users/ari.vesanen/windowsohjelmointi/saa/saa.rss. Other possiibility is to use another weather service of your own choice.

Note 2. Do not include object files that are created when compiling the program (not even the exe-file)  to avoid the filtering of e-mail attachhments.
